When ideas are on the table, Sarah’s the one who knows what’ll work – and what’ll fly. It’s not magic, but a unique depth of industry experience, natural talent for strategy and a data-happy ‘geek streak’ a mile long.
After cutting her teeth in Sydney at the Commonwealth Bank and Colonial First State Investments, Sarah’s time as Marketing & Business Development Manager for Hyperion Asset Management served up a lesson in growth. In 2007 she returned to New Zealand as National Marketing Manager for NPT Limited’s retail portfolio, learning valuable lessons in promotions and community relations, not to mention working with much more pragmatic budgets.
Sarah’s passion for entrepreneurism fueled by her time in Sydney, inspired her to return to Dunedin in 2010, where an exceptional business culture made fertile ground for an ambitious new marketing firm.
From driving some of Immersion’s most successful campaigns, Sarah’s role now sees her in planning and strategy, map-making for clients aimed at new territory. She’d rather lead than dictate, trusting in the quality of her people to develop and execute extraordinary campaigns.
Sarah’s energy knows no limits. Always looking to shift her comfort zones, Sarah and her husband Alex are in the final stages of building their off-grid house in the middle of a forest along Dunedin’s South Coast and she is an avid multi-sporter – to top it all off – with her eyes on some wild Southern sports events. A member of the Institute of Directors, mentor for Ignite Consultants, judge for the Audacious Business competition, trustee overseeing the restoration of the Historic Dunedin Prison and councilor of the Otago Medical Research Foundation, Sarah is a passionate supporter of Dunedin’s community.
